Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Astra Guide ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Astra Guide.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Astra Guide. By creating an account you represent that you are 13 or older. Users between 13 and 17 represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on their behalf. Astra Guide is not directed to children under 13. If we discover that an account belongs to a user under 13, we will immediately terminate the account and delete all associated data.

3. Astrological Content Disclaimer

Astra Guide provides astrological content — including birth charts, daily horoscopes, astrocartography maps, compatibility reports, and gamification features — for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. This content is based on traditional astrological symbolic systems. It does not constitute, and should not be construed as:

• Financial, investment, or economic advice
• Legal or professional advice of any kind
• Medical, psychiatric, or psychological guidance
• Relationship or therapeutic counseling
• A scientifically validated method of prediction or diagnosis

No reading, chart, or content generated by Astra Guide can predict future events with certainty or replace consultation with a licensed professional. Astra Guide expressly disclaims liability for decisions made in reliance on any content provided through the App. If you need professional guidance, please consult a qualified licensed professional.

4. AI-Generated Content

Daily horoscopes, personalized readings, and other narrative content within Astra Guide are generated using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content is provided for entertainment purposes only, is not individually reviewed or verified by licensed professionals, and may contain inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or unexpected outputs. By using the App you acknowledge and accept the inherent limitations of AI-generated content.

5. Your Account

To use Astra Guide you must create an account by providing your email address, a password, and astrological birth data (date of birth, time of birth, and city of birth). You may also optionally provide a display name and intention tags during onboarding. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at privacy@astraguide.io.

You represent that all information you provide — including birth details — is accurate. We use your birth data exclusively to calculate astrological charts and deliver the App's features.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Astra Guide Pro

Astra Guide offers a premium subscription ("Astra Guide Pro") that unlocks unlimited birth charts, daily AI-powered readings, full astrocartography maps, compatibility insights, and all premium features.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged upon purchase confirmation.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Renewal charges apply within 24 hours prior to the end of each billing period at the rate displayed at the time of purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Managing Your Subscription

Manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — no refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period. Astra Guide does not have access to your payment information; all billing is processed by Apple.

7. Compatibility Bonds

The Bonds feature allows you to add other people and generate astrological compatibility reports using their birth details. By using this feature:

• You confirm you have the consent of any individual whose birth data you enter into the App.
• Birth details you enter for another person are stored on our servers and used solely to generate compatibility reports for you.
• When another user adds you as a Bond (via invite link), your astrological profile may be used to generate a compatibility report for that user.
• Bond connections and their associated data are deleted when you delete your account.

8. Gamification

Astra Guide includes gamification elements including Cosmic Energy XP, daily streaks, streak shields, rank tiers, and achievement badges (collectively, "Gamification Features"). You acknowledge that:

• All Gamification Features have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or exchanged for any consideration outside the App.
• We reserve the right to modify, reset, or discontinue any Gamification Feature at any time without liability.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, algorithms, and software within Astra Guide are owned by Astra Guide or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any App content.

You retain ownership of the personal data you provide. You grant us a limited license to use that data solely to provide the App's features.

10. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account at any time directly within the App by navigating to Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: your account and all associated personal data — including your email address, birth details, bonds, and usage history — are permanently removed from our servers. Subscription cancellation is separate and must be managed through your Apple ID Account Settings. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASTRAGUIDE'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO ASTRAGUIDE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL ASTRAGUIDE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be submitted to binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and Astra Guide each waive the right to participate in any class action or class arbitration. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction or pursuing claims in small claims court.
